It’s day 7 for the 52nd annual Corner Brook Winter Carnival and there’s lots on the agenda. A Seniors Merchandise Bingo at the Valley Mall this afternoon, a Golfshoz event with the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade, a Taste of Italy at St. Michael’s church, a spelling bee at Immaculate Heart of Mary and at 7 o’clock tonight it’s the Hottest Man for the Coldest Season. This year, some businesses got onboard and offered prizes and discounts for a “Find Leif the Ducky contest.” Laminated pictures of yellow ducks wearing a viking hat were hidden throughout the city. Bayfm took part and two winners won gift baskets and a chance to be  a radio superstar and record a carnival message. Lucky ducky winners are Bentley Williams and Colin Jarvis. Congratulations!
