BayFM wins Community Investment Award

    Bayfm's Dean Clarke accepts the award from GCBBT's Pam Keeping

    Station Manager Lenny Benoit says it’s an honour to be recognized by peers and it was great to see other people from the community being recognized for what they do.

    Winners of the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade Excellence Awards were held last week at an event downtown. The Hew and Draw won the Beautifications Award, Customer Service went to Trudy’s Coffee and Convenience, the Online Presence Award went to Park West, and Piker’s Place received the Rising Star Award. BayFM was the winner in the Community Investment Award. Station Manager Lenny Benoit says it’s an honour to be recognized by peers and it was great to see other people from the community being recognized for what they do. Fox’s General Store won the Business Legacy Award, Speedy Glass won for People’s Choice, Danny’s Paw Prints won Youth Business of the Year, and Digital Advertising Solutions won the Qalipu Business of the Year Award.
