Station Manager Lenny Benoit says this is all for the community.
Once again, BayFM has won the award for Best Community Radio Station of the year in Canada for the small market division at the 2024 Canadian Radio Awards hosted by industry publication Broadcast Dialogue.
Station Manager Lenny Benoit says this is all for the community. He says it’s humbling but it’s obviously what the community wants. Benoit says the station keeps it local and it’s nice to see it recognized. He says this award encompasses everything about radio from morning show and information updates, to news and community involvement.
When asked about a potential win next year, Benoit says it’s probably a pipe dream but we won’t stop trying.
