Bay of Islands NLHC homes to be sold to build units in Corner Brook

    Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne says the actual number of units that could be built from this, depends on the sales. He says the NLHC homes going up for sale are 3-4 bedroom units.

    Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne says he’s made it a priority to get low income housing in his district. The province has applied for funding from the federal government but did not get any support. Byrne says the Dunfield Park area needs to be demolished and low income units put in place. He says there are homes in the Bay of Islands that will be sold to help with this. Byrne says the actual number of units that could be built from this, depends on the sales. He says the NLHC homes going up for sale are 3-4 bedroom units.
