This shutdown will continue into late next week.
The town of Steady Brook is advising residents and business owners that the Maintenance Department has temporarily shut down the artesian well supply. This shutdown will continue into late next week. The shutdown is necessary to complete an assessment of the artesian wells and will have no effect on the surface water.
