Anthony Humby of St. John's is now facing 79 charges related to child trafficking

    His co-accused, 82-year-old Bruce Escott, has pled guilty to seven charges and will be sentenced in 2025.

    The RNC has laid additional child trafficking related charges against Anthony Humby. The 64-year-old is facing another 7 charges of trafficking persons under the age of 18, with the offences occurring between 2006 and 2022. The investigation started in November 2022 and has involved hundreds of interviews, and extensive electronic data collection and forensic analysis. In total, Humby is facing 79 charges specific to 13 complainants. His co-accused, 82-year-old Bruce Escott, has pled guilty to seven charges and will be sentenced in 2025. Both men remain in custody.
