More than 7000 people are expected to dock at Corner Brook Port over the next few days. Today’s cruise ship, the Norweigian Jade is back again until 3p.m. Tomorrow will see the Arcadia coming in at 8 a.m and the Roald Amundsen,, a smaller ship, is due to arrive on Thursday. Robert Murphy is with Corner Brook’s Ambassador Program. He says this group started in 2016 with the intention of greeting cruise ship visitors. Murphy says a big number of cruise ship passengers end up taking an excursion down the bay or event to Gros Morne. He says during the past 6 or 7 ship visits, many people have thanked them for being available and informative.
