Police say the girl was riding a bicycle when she was struck by a pick up truck shortly after 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Police say she was rushed to hospital but died a short time later. Drunken Crescent was closed to traffic while officers gathered information from the scene. The 81-year-old driver of the pick-up truck remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
