In response to malicious damage to property using spray paint and graffiti on the Northeast Avalon, the RNC Criminal Investigation Division is launching a province-wide tip line. Since March, police have made several arrests. Cst James Cadigan says this tip line is for the whole province. He says it costs thousands of dollars to clean paint and graffiti and one business owner in St. John’s has spent over $40,000 so far. The tip line to report property damage due to graffiti is 709-729-8800.
