    A missing St. John's man found dead in a wooded area

    RNC say missing person, Joseph Whelan, has been found deceased.

    RNC say missing person, Joseph Whelan, has been found deceased. Police say his remains were found in a wooded area near Windemere Road in Goulds last Sunday night. Today,  the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the deceased as Joseph WHELAN, who was reported missing from the area on August 1st. The investigation is ongoing and the RNC are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
