A 78-year-old man who crashed his vehicle on Route 430 last Thursday is now facing charges. RCMP were called to Reef’s Harbour at around 3:15 am. A vehicle was located in a ditch and the driver was inside and appeared to be impaired. He failed to provide roadside breath samples, resisted arrest and assaulted one of the officers. The man has been charged with refusing to provide a breath sample, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
