RCMP have arrested and charged a 51-year-old man with impaired operation while he was waiting to board the ferry to Nova Scotia. Police say shortly after 8 o’clock Tuesday night, they were called to the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal in Port aux Basques. The accused failed a roadside breath test and was arrested for impaired operation. He is due to appear in court at a later date, his license was suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
