There are about 50 students set to start this fall at Grenfell Campus who can’t find a place to rent. Carolyn Parsons is the Campus Registrar and Director of Student Services. She says some students may not be attending so this could also free up some spaces in student housing as some things happen at the last minute and students have to change their plans, although she is doubtful that number will be as high as 50. Parsons says they hired a graduate student this summer to work with the community to address housing shortages and the community has come forward with solutions and housing opportunities. There are 600 beds in student housing. If you have a room, apartment or house to rent, please email studentservices@grenfell.mun.ca
