$50 million in low-interest loans available for developers of affordable rental units

Government is looking for property developers for new purpose-built residential rental projects. The program is part of the government’s five-point plan designed to help increase the availability of affordable housing. Up to $50 million in low-interest loans will be available for property developers to encourage the construction of new rental housing.
