A 22-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) near Lewisporte on Friday, October 18th. Shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Lewisporte RCMP received the report of the crash. Upon arrival, officers determined that the vehicle left the TCH and the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene. An occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
