$210,000 to be spent on a statue in honour of the last Gordon Pinsent

    Premier Andrew Furey says “we lost our very own Rowdyman, the incomparable Gordon Pinsent. His contributions to this province and our arts and cultural sector were tremendous.”

    Premier Andrew Furey has announced money for a statue in honour of the late Gordon Pinsent. $210,000 will support the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor tribute. Gordon Pinsent remains one of the province’s most prolific actors and writers. Mr. Pinsent passed away on February 25, 2023. Furey says “we lost our very own Rowdyman, the incomparable Gordon Pinsent. His contributions to this province and our arts and cultural sector were tremendous.”
