18 new RNC officers sworn in and some of them are headed to Corner Brook

    They are graduates of the Atlantic Police Academy in Prince Edward Island.

    There was a special ceremony in St. John’s yesterday to welcome 18 new officers to the RNC. The cadets were sworn-in as constables of the RNC and some of them will be assigned to a coach officer in Corner Brook. They are graduates of the Atlantic Police Academy in Prince Edward Island. The RNC currently has a class of 21 recruits attending the Academy with another class expected to begin training in July.
