13 projects to share $667K in funding for french services

    The town of Cape St. George is getting $9,000 for a francophone tourism initiative and Stephenville is getting $10,000 for bilingual street signage in the town.  

    Thirteen projects throughout the province will share $667K in funding from the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on French-Language Services. 

    The projects will advance the planning and delivery of services in French and will be matched by contributions from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town of Cape St. George is getting $9,000 for a francophone tourism initiative and Stephenville is getting $10,000 for bilingual street signage in the town.
