MHA’s returned to their seats yesterday as the fall sitting of the House of Assembly got underway. Before it started, Deputy Premier and Deputy House Leader Barry Petten, as well as
House Leader Lloyd Parrott spoke to reporters at Confederation Building. Petten spoke about a busy agenda with 36 pieces of legislation to bring forward.

Parrott says this includes legislation surrounding the Highway Traffic Act, Justice, and Red Tape reduction. Before the session started, House Speaker Paul Lane spoke about the need for respect and harassment free. Parrott says this has been an ongoing discussion.

The fall sitting is being broadcasted on the House of Assembly television channel and streamed through their website and social media.
