Bay St. George District RCMP is warning drivers, especially those in large or commercial vehicles such as RVs and tractor trailers, of high winds and rain in the Wreckhouse area Wednesday evening.
While the highway is currently open, all motorists are asked to use caution and drive according to the weather conditions. RCMP ask motorists to consider delaying travel until conditions improve.
Winds are gusting at over 100 km/h in the area as of late Wednesday evening.
