A new automated garbage system

At a Corner Brook City Council meeting on June 23, it was approved to move forward with implementing a new automated garbage system where special bins will and an automated arm will be used to collect household waste. In conjunction with this, we will have a new sorting and collection program for recyclables. The program rolls out Januray 1, 2026.Lenny speaks with Kirsten Mercer, Sustainability Sustainability Development Coordinator with The City of Corner Brook
