She was given a ticket for speeding, her vehicle was seized and impounded by police and her driver’s licence was suspended.
Elsewhere, a 60-year-old man was handed a ticket for operating an ATV with a suspended license Tuesday afternoon. Police stopped the man on the shoulder of the Trans-Canada Highway near the exit to Baie Verte for not wearing a helmet. That’s when they learned he did not have a valid license.
