Western Sno-Riders want to replace the washed-out Bailey bridge located 182 metres downstream from its original location on South Brook near Pasadena. The bridge connects an existing snowmobile trail network. Construction would include clearing a short access trail to recover the old bridge using an excavator and placement of armour stone and concrete blocks on both banks of the river during installation of the new bridge. The undertaking was registered with the Environment Department November 1st., the deadline for public comment is December 6th, and the Minister’s decision is due by December 16th.
