A lane closure on West Street in Corner Brook will be in place starting 4:30 this afternoon and running until about 9:30 tonight. This is necessary for the CBRC's annual “Here for Beer” event. One lane of West Street (right lane, north-bound) will be closed. Runners will head North on West St. and then East down Main St. on the sidewalk, through the Humber Road / Riverside Dr intersection and then cross over to the walkway next to the port and continue running east along the north side of Riverside Drive along the side of the road. They will run around the Pollett Building parking lot and then return to the start line on West Street. Flag people will be directing runners and traffic at the intersection.
