This year’s “Washbrain” will get underway at the Grenfell Backlot tomorrow night with doors opening at 8 p.m.
What started between colleagues at a board meeting of 62 Broadway in Corner Brook, has turned into a way to give back to artists. Scott Sheppard is the Youth Coordinator and Graphic Designer at 62 Broadway. “Washbrain” is coming up this weekend and Sheppard says it’s all about washing your brain of preconceived notions of what art and music should be. He says there will be lots of music and it includes an arts element. The first “Washbrain” was held in the summer of 2023 and an event called “Freezebrain” was held in the winter. This year’s “Washbrain” will get underway at the Grenfell Backlot tomorrow night with doors opening at 8 p.m. It’s not just for students, the public can attend and there is something for all ages.
