RCMP have arrested two women in relation to an investigation into a theft of items from a vehicle on Sunday in Carbonear. Police located the two suspects at a traffic stop and two women, ages 42 and 26, were found in possession of the stolen items. The 26-year-old driver of the vehicle showed signs of impairment and tested positive for cannabis on roadside drug screening equipment. The stolen property was returned to its rightful owner.
