Two officers taken to hospital after a crash in Benoit's Cove, RNC looking for video footage

    Both officers were sent to hospital for medical treatment and have since been released.

    Two Corner Brook RNC officers were taken to hospital early yesterday morning after a single vehicle collision on the south shore of the Bay of Islands. Police are also looking for any information or video footage from the area. It happened around 5:30 yesterday morning while on patrol in Benoit’s Cove. There was significant damage caused to the SUV after it left the roadway. Both officers were sent to hospital for medical treatment and have since been released. Anyone with information, or video footage (CCTV or dash camera) from the area in the lead up to, or following the collision is asked to contact the RNC at 709-637-4100.
