The annual Trails Tales and Tunes Festival in the Gros Morne area will celebrate a 20th anniversary this year. It is set to take place May 15th to the 24th in Norris Point. Wayne Parsons recently came on the air with Bayfm’s Dean Clarke. He says this ten day event is the result of a lot of work by a lot of people. Mike Stevens is back again this year as the festival artist in residence. Parsons says he is a harmonica player, composer and author who was appointed to the Order of Canada last year. He says the line up is many but there will be a number of west coast bands. This includes Roblo’s Rock, Sherman Downey, Smugglers Cove, the Catch, Cover Girls, the Mill City Mavericks, Deep Pocket and more.
