The Navigator is due in port tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock.
The Corner Brook cruise ship season seems to be stuck in the ice off our coast. The Navigator owned by Regent Seven Seas was due to make two port calls here in May and one last week but had to cancel three times due to ice accumulation in the Gulf. Jennifer Hartley is the Business Manager at the Corner Brook Port Corporation. She says there are still 29 cruise ship visits left to the season and seven these are first time port calls. She says four days will be double ship days. Hartley says the expect 2023 to be a record year for cruise ship visits. She says this year they plan on building upon the visitor experience. Hartley says they may build a bandstand over the summer. The Navigator is due in port tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock.
