The Workforce Warriors Program brings a funded electrical program to Stephenville

    This fully funded training opportunity will be offered in Stephenville this fall through Qalipu First Nations.

    Here’s an opportunity to earn what you learn. This fully funded training opportunity will be offered in Stephenville this fall through Qalipu First Nations. It will give participants exposure to electrical construction and renewable energy technologies. Karen Gillam is with the Workforce Warriors Program. She says training costs and a weekly allowance will be provided. Gillam says they will also have 3 weeks of health and safety training as well as a week of cultural training. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate for Orientation to Electrical from a recognized college as well as a Solar Install certificate. Those interested in working in the electrical or renewable energy sectors will be paired with employers.
