    Government has extended the deadline to have them removed to Friday, May 15.

    The first day of spring has come and gone, and with the extended winter weather, means motorists can keep their studded tires on a little longer. Government has extended the deadline to have them removed to Friday, May 15.  Under the Highway Traffic Act, studded tires are only permitted between November 1 and April 30th.
