The deadline to have a say about what MHAs are paid has been extended

    Anyone interested in participating in a virtual session must pre-register on or before January 22nd by calling 1-833-711-0422 or email mcrc2024@gov.nl.ca.

    The deadline to have a say about what MHAs are paid has been extended. The Members’ Compensation Review Committee (MCRC) was appointed to inquire into and prepare a report respecting the salaries, allowances, severance and pensions to be paid to Members of the House of Assembly. Written submissions must be received by January 26th. Anyone interested in participating in a virtual session must pre-register on or before January 22nd by calling 1-833-711-0422 or email mcrc2024@gov.nl.ca. These sessions will be scheduled during the week of January 29 to February 2nd.
