    T.C.H. closed near Birchy Narrows due to crash

    Travel is not recommended due to weather conditions.

    Deer Lake and Springdale RCMP are responding to a motor vehicle collision on the TCH near Birchy Narrows. 

    One of the accidents involves a tractor trailer which has jackknifed & is blocking the road completely. Additionally, another tractor trailer & multiple vehicles are stuck on the highway between the Birchy Narrows scene & Deer Lake. 

    Poor visibility and driving conditions have been reported in the area. Police request drivers to proceed very cautiously and avoid the area entirely if possible until the accident scene is cleared up.
