A teacher in Stephenville Crossing is one of three in the province to receive a National Award. Thomas Ayre teaches Grade 4 at St. Michael’s Elementary School in Stephenville Crossing. He is one of the three teachers being recognized with the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Excellence in Early Childhood Education.
