RNC say the accident happened Monday just before 5:00 pm on the Trans-Canada Highway, between Aberdeen Avenue and Logy Bay Road.
St. John’s RNC are looking for video footage after a single-vehicle collision sent a woman to hospital with serious injuries. Police say the driver fled the scene by foot but was arrested a short while later. The 37 year old man was also wanted on another matter. RNC say the accident happened Monday just before 5:00 pm on the Trans-Canada Highway, between Aberdeen Avenue and Logy Bay Road. Police located a red Hyundai SUV with significant damage and the 26-year-old female occupant was still in the car.
