A man wanted for an assault involving bear spray in Corner Brook has been arrested. 40-year-old Todd Barry was taken into custody without incident today. His co-accused, 21-year-old Joshua Roberts was arrested March 20th after an incident that happened March 14th on Crestview Avenue, where another man was bear sprayed. Barry and Roberts had fled the area and warrants were issued then for their arrests.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 53-year-old Nelson Gordon Parsons who is currently evading police.
Police have located the body of a missing 88 year-old, last seen in Cape St. George
Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says there was an extensive search by land, air and water today, and the man was located deceased.

Sustainability officer Kristen Mercer says the new recycling program is actually going better than they expected and so far, the highest percentage of contamination is 2 percent, which shows people are doing a really good job at recycling.
