Today is Nomination Day in the town of Hughes Brook.
Deputy Mayor Chelsea Bowler says residents can drop by the town office between 8am and 8pm to nominate their choice for councillor. She says a councillor resigned at the beginning of the year leaving only four on council. Deputy Mayor Bowler says a by-election to fill the empty council chair will take place May 29 if more than one nomination is received.
