RCMP say road conditions were very poor and are advising motorists today to delay non-essential travel until they improve.
One person was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Route 430 just north of the St. Anthony airport last night. RCMP say the driver’s injuries are believed to be minor and non life-threatening. Police got a call about the collision shortly after 7:30 p.m but the Northern Peninsula highway was closed all night. It reopened around 11 o’clock this morning once cleared. RCMP say road conditions were very poor and are advising motorists today to delay non-essential travel until they improve.
