RNC arrest two last night in separate incidents

    The RNC say the incidents were unrelated.

    A 42 year old man is facing charges after police were called to a disturbance on O’Connell Drive last night. RNC say the man was intoxicated and was also wanted on a warrant for not attending court. Police say he’s been charged with assault, resisting arrest and failure to attend court.

    A 26 year old man was arrested after police were responding to an unrelated call on Empire Street. RNC say he has been charged with failure to appear in relation to a court appearance that he had missed.
