Government’s Environment department has given the green light to a proposal to build residential and commercial subdivisions in the town of Deer Lake. V & J Tectonic Inc. plans to develop on two land parcels of approximately 150 hectares located on Glide Lake Road in the Town of Deer Lake. The development would include residential and commercial light industrial lots including recreational facilities, transportation hubs and medical services. A phased construction approach is scheduled to begin upon receiving all required permits and approvals. Although the Project as proposed is released from further environmental assessment, it is still subject to other legislative requirements. The undertaking was registered on October 23rd.
