• UPDATED: Missing man located safe

  Deer Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s help to locate 26-year-old Albert Maina.

  Witnesses at the scene said a small dirt bike left the area via West Street and RCMP would like to speak to the operator as soon as possible. 

• "Stuff the Backpacks" at Corner Brook Staples will take place in their parking lot on August 20th

  Staples Manager Wendy Norton says last year, this event collected 200 fully stocked backpacks in partnership with Vine Place Community Centre.
