RCMP execute warrant in Doyles and a 54-year-old man is charged with resisting arrest

    Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP charged a 54-year-old man with resisting a police officer late last week. Police say an altercation broke out while they were executing a warrant in Doyles on Thursday afternoon. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance but no injuries were reported. He was released into police custody and taken to Stephenville detachment.
