Once the fire was put out police found the human remains of a man inside.
The RCMP has confirmed that although two separate incidents happened at a Deer Lake property, they are not related or connected. On October 10th, a 46 year old man was arrested at a home on Middle Road. Police found cocaine and pills. Three says later on Sunday, October 13th, police were called to the same property on Middle Road to a shed fire. Once the fire was put out police found the human remains of a man inside. Cpl Jolene Garland there is no evidence at this point that the two events are connected. The Chief Medical Examiner is involved in this ongoing investigation.
