Police and fire rescue attended the scene immediately but the home was completely destroyed by the blaze.
RCMP is looking for a passerby that helped a family escape a burning home in Bay Roberts last week. Police say they got a call around 6:30 Thursday morning from a woman saying she and her family had just escaped the blaze, thanks to a passerby who noticed smoke coming from the home and went in to wake up the residents. Police and fire rescue attended the scene immediately but the home was completely destroyed by the blaze. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
