Pasadena Pirates celebrate first win for NL at Atlantic Championship since the eighties

    Darren Hancock is the President of Baseball NL. He says baseball has grown in this province.

    No NL team has won the U13AA Atlantic baseball since the eighties, until the Pasadena Pirates recently came home sporting the gold. The town of Pasadena was quick to notice and planned a party for the team on Wednesday. Mayor Darren Gardner says the town is getting noticed. The town unveiled a banner and firefighters led a motorcade on a parade. Premier Andrew Furey had some good advice for the team. Darren Hancock is the President of Baseball NL. He says baseball has grown in this province. Congratulations to the Pasadena Pirates on  winning the gold at the Atlantic Championship in New Brunswick.
