The leader of the opposition, Tony Wakeham, held a webinar on Friday to gauge questions from attendees. He says much of the PC party questions on the MOU are similar to what he’s hearing from Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. Things like why Quebec, and why give Hydro Quebec a twenty year exclusivity on Gull Island? Wakeham says there are questions on the whole revenue stream and how much money will actually come to the NL treasury. He wants an independent review but says that hasn’t happened yet. Wakeham says the Opposition is ready to ask the tough questions that they say government seems to want to avoid.
