Off-road rider in critical condition after a collision near Bay Roberts

    Following the collision, the car fled the scene.

    Around 6:30 last night, Bay Roberts RCMP were called to Barracks Road after a collision between a car and an off-road vehicle. Witnesses advised police that a car had struck a dirt bike that was crossing the road, causing the driver to be thrown from the bike. Following the collision, the car fled the scene. The driver of the dirt bike was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition. Shortly after the collision, 19-year-old Brady Butler turned himself in to RCMP.
