    Less than $100,000 over budget

The Mayor of Corner Brook isn’t too concerned about cost overruns on construction of the Regional Recreation Centre. The issue was discussed at this week’s council meeting. Mayor Jim Parsons says the project will cost nearly 25 million dollars and is done as a design build bid. He says higher inflation means higher costs. Mayor Parsons says the project is currently less than one hundred thousand dollars over budget.
