We all know him as part of the main cast of the TV comedy series, “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” but Trent McLellan is back in his home town of Corner Brook to be a part of the NL Games, celebrating a 50th anniversary here where the games started. McLellan had a sold out show at the Civic Centre last night and will emcee at a sold out opening ceremonies show tomorrow night. On Bayfm’s “Centre Stage with Stella” this week, McLellan spoke about growing up in Corner Brook and that when he moved to Calgary in 2004, he realized that for some people, you need to move away to appreciate home even more. He is excited to see what the future holds for his hometown, especially with the harbour. Opening ceremonies for the NLSummer Games kick off 7 o’clock tomorrow night at the Civic Center.
