Newfoundland and Labrador’s Seniors’ Advocate has released an update on the annual Status Report on Recommendations 2022-2023. Twenty-five formal recommendations have been issued by the Office of the Seniors’ Advocate to various government departments and agencies. To date, 16 recommendations have been fully implemented, compared to 11 in last year’s report; seven recommendations are partially implemented; and two recommendations have no measurable advancement. The percentage of implemented recommendations increased from 44 per cent last year to 64 per cent.
